I attended a football match at Selhurst Park (home of Crystal Palace) early in 2006, and the commentator advertised these bricks at the end of the match. He claimed that they’d be a great Valentine’s Day gift, which inspired this comic.
I originally handdrew it in black and white, then “digitally remastered” it on the computer to add colour and legible lettering.
